Sunshine Sports - Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Sunshine Learning Hub Pty Ltd (ABN 97 689 012 575), trading as Sunshine Sports wants every parent to be able to enrol a child, pay, and read what they have agreed to, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
1. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard Australian government services are held to, and it is a reasonable bar for a portal that families have to use.
2. What we have done
These are things we have actually built and checked, not aspirations: - Portal pages have a "Skip to content" link, so a keyboard user does not have to tab through the navigation each time. - On the main parent pages (signing up, adding a child, booking and paying) we have checked that buttons, links and form controls are large enough to tap on a phone and can be used with a keyboard alone. - Form fields on those pages have visible labels, and errors are described in words, not by colour alone. - Those pages work at phone width without scrolling sideways.
We have not checked every screen in the same way, so if you find one that falls short, please tell us (section 4).
3. What we have not done
We have not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. We have not systematically tested the portal with screen readers, with voice control, or with browser zoom above 200%. Some older content, and any PDF we send you, may not meet the standard.
Colour contrast is in that list too. We choose colours with contrast in mind and we fix what we find, but we have not measured every combination against the AA ratio, so we are not claiming it.
4. If something blocks you
Tell us and we will fix it, and in the meantime we will do the thing for you rather than leave you stuck. Email info@sunshinesports.au with what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We aim to reply within 5 business days. If you would rather do it by phone, include a phone number and we will call you and take the enrolment over the phone.
5. Your rights
The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) applies to us. If you are not satisfied with how we have responded, you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission at humanrights.gov.au.
